The 4-day show was intense and rich encounters. Our dealer near Paris Pulsar Cycles allowed us to present finally and officially the first production bike and a FWD (forward wheel drive)prototype.
Few orders have been signed which allows us to enter the active phase.
Barbara Buatois will make an official attempt on the Hour record on the white frame fitted with a fixed gear. Corima (www.corima.com) will supply a rear disc wheel and a 18'carbon front wheel. A special crash helmet will also be used.

Will Barbara Buatois be riding a Le Rapide' or the Kouign Amann pictured above?

I love the new handlebars you have on the Kouign Amann FWD prototype. A good compromise between the previous aero-bars and the original tweener bars. I eagerly follow the development of this bike.

Barbara will be riding a stock Rapide.
The new handle bar of the KA LD is much better than the large U bar. Stiffer and more aero.

Hello Malric,

Thank you very much for the test drive in "salon du cycle" on Kouign Amann LD. It was very good to drive.. even better than I imagined.
Do you have any progress in 2x26" version?
Greetings from Finland
-Juha

Dear Juha,
That was a pleasure to meet you also.
The KA 2x650 is on the drawing board right now and a prototype will be built this winter.

Malric,

have a nice ride

Hello Malric!
Just noticed your claim of a KM copy on my hammerhead design.
Your giving yourself too much credit.
My drawings are dated, and existed before I saw yours.
Nice work though.
Also, being artisic you should see more differences than similarities.

Good luck
JM

Months on, and I'm still fascinated by your FWD prototype. I've spent long enough battling with idlers to make me search a proper long term solution, and your design could well be it.

Looking forward to reading more about this bike, and (hopefully) one day getting a chance to see it in the flesh.
